Congrats to Greenjeans

Congrats to Greenjeans in Brooklyn, NY, who were on the CBS Early Show earlier this morning! The news show included them in a story about husband and wife business partners (Amy Shaw and Jae Kim).  Sounds like a great story.  Hopefully, we'll get the video online!

UPDATE: CBS has posted the video online.  Click here to view it!

LATE UPDATE:  Amy kindly sent me the snippet of code needed to post the video on Wholesale Matters.  Here ya go!

BMAC Summer Review

We're still crunching the numbers to see how the summer show went, but here's a review from Brenda Griffith.

Brenda also posted this great picture of her booth:

Also, it looks like Brenda's book is very close to becoming a reality!

Congrats Brenda!

Booth Design Tips

This post by Luann Udell on booth design might be a little late for some of you artists already en route to the summer Buyers Market.  But for those of you sitting this one out--or planning your February booth--her column will prove very helpful.

My favorite line from the post comes at the end:

Make your booth easier to read.  Make it easier to jump in and sample.  Make it easier to navigate.

Do You Use Facebook?

Yesterday, a number of my favorite PR blogs were buzzing about Facebook.  Facebook is a social network, where users set up profiles and connect with each other through common interests and other friends. Originally, Facebook was only for use by college students.  Then they opened it up to businesses.  Now they've opened it up to anyone.

Since it seems to be taking off as the "hottest new thing" in social networking, I'm curious to know if anyone in the wholesale craft community has taken the plunge and started using it.  If you have, post your feedback about Facebook in the comments section.
